Uh... No. They still use GHM numbers. The UN revised numbers are fully identified deaths, meaning people with a first and last name next to their entry in the GHM's database. This is opposed to non-fully identified deaths, where it's known that X number of people died (for example an Israeli bombed blew X people to smithereens and they're unidentifiable or there's nobody left to identify them because the whole family is dead). non-fully identified numbers are the same.

I noticed they’re still using the numbers that Hamas puts out on the number of Palestinians killed. Even the UN has revised their numbers now.

Source? Where are you getting this info? Btw, Israel just released video showing Hamas working out of UN buildings and drivng UN cars so I don’t know if I would believe much of what they say. foxnews.com/…/idf-claims-photos-show-hamas-combat…

The UN came out to correct the misunderstanding:
Also setting aside how GHM numbers are and have always been accurate according to literally everyone (Hamas has a lot to lose and nothing to gain from faking them), Fox News? Seriously? If you're gonna make claims find a source worth reading.

Here’s you another source m.youtube.com/watch?v=B7vReIN-shs

It’s drone footage, if you don’t want to watch it, that’s fine but that doesn’t mean it’s not true. I would’ve sent you a link for CNN or something but I don’t think they want you to see it so I couldn’t find where they reported on it

UN is unable to independently verify, since IDF keeps killing their staff. So they had to change how they verify deaths, which reclassified the people killed, not the total number of people killed. It’s a moot point anyway, since Palestinian figures are known to be highly credible. They have plenty of reasons to be diligent about it, and zero reasons to invent stuff.

Here’s your trustworthy UN
foxnews.com/…/idf-claims-photos-show-hamas-combat…
and btw, the UN minisrty of health is getting their numbers from Hamas, so I guess if you trust Hamas, it is what it is

lmao, citing Fox as some kind of credible source on anything, smdh.
Cincinnatus@lemmy.world 5 months ago
More credible than most of your sources I’m sure. Why else would they be the highest rated news channel in the country? Just because they speak out about narratives the MSM tries push on people doesn’t mean they’re not credible. They allow both sides of the argument and both Democrats and Republicans to give their views on stuff which is more than I can say about some of the other networks. They also don’t have reporters quitting because of bias being so bad like NPR does, or places like NBC who wouldn’t hire Ronna Mcdaniel because they say she lied about something. Fox however, hired Donna Brazile even though they know she lied when she said she didn’t give Hillary Clinton the questions ahead of time during a debate because she admitted it. Just like the drone footage of Hamas driving UN vehicles, yeah it was fox that reported on it. If I would’ve seen CNN or MSDNC report on it, I would have gladly sent you that link instead. Of course they’ll say they couldn’t verify it, but every story they hear about that’s negative on Trump, all the sudden they don’t need to verify it, just like the Russian dossier they ran with day after day month after month, and it was fake, lol
