Comment on Why is head hair different from other hairy parts?
independantiste@sh.itjust.works 1 month agoYeah, but why is it much thicker and less dense? Same for beard and leg hair and every other hair I can think of as well, so for protection? From what (I can think of rubbing maybe)?

Also, fun fact, public lice and head lice are separate species. Head lice can’t survive on pubic hair and vice versa.
