Wizzard@lemm.ee 8 months agoYeah, if you want to electrocute some poor linesman outside. If you have considered purchasing a generator for emergencies, get the transfer switch installed and be prepared so when you do it, you do it safely.

I’m hardly an electrician and even I know to have some sort of a cutoff switch that can isolate the home if I want to power it separately.
