TeNppa@sopuli.xyz 2 months agoDoes the switching really work? I’ve been eyeing Tidal since Spotify is shit at that. Too many times I get “can’t play this song” when switching from pc to mobile or vice versa. Sometimes it won’t even switch and I have to force close both, which is not possible when I’m outside and not near the pc.

Hmm, I don’t use the feature frequently, but it hasn’t failed on me. I can say that I use CarPlay frequently, and Tidal’s CarPlay implementation is a thousand times more reliable than Spotify, so when it comes to device based implementations they seem to have done a great job.
Looks like they offer a free trial, offer.tidal.com so I would say probably best to pilot it with that and see if it suites your needs
