Churbleyimyam@lemm.ee 5 months agoOK. I have no google services running but do not get amazing battery. Its probably because I have a couple of messaging apps awake in the background though. I tried self-hosting push notifications but didn’t get it working reliably.

Cool, what’s your setup for push notifications? I do too but reached a stumbling block with push notifications, gave up and have been doing without them since. Not great for my phone’s battery life probably…
