We don’t even know when you are or aren’t supposed to tip anymore because everyone has a tip jar.
Order groceries online for store pickup. Do I tip the person who brought out the order?
Get a carryout pizza from Domino’s. Do you tip the guy behind the counter that handed you the box?

That used to be what tipping was. Receiving a service so profoundly above average that it warranted an above average expense.
The last “above average” thing Blizzard made was Overwatch and they killed it to sell it twice.
