Street asphalt and concrete are incredibly dirty. Car exhaust, dust, whatever the wind brings, bird droppings, insects, trash, there is like a thousand contaminants.

Civilizations are filled with these disgusting things called humans. Hairy, greasy, smelly things, constantly touching and smearing themselves all over everything with their excretions and fluids and hairs and dandruffs… uugghhh….

I live in a major city that is almost entirely concrete. That doesn’t mean it’s free of filth, grime, and dirt.
