bruh the only way i managed to kill anyone in cs was by desperately shooting and hoping that someone gets caught in the crossfire

This happened ONCE in my favor and was my most-memorable CS moment. It was 1v1, so everyone was watching. I switched to knife, stalked the guy from behind, gained on him painfully slowly while he ran, knifed him, chat erupted. Literally the only time I ever managed that kind of kill, too. Pretty sure I was in high school. God, I'm so old.

I had installed CS globally in the school network (I was a TA in the networking class, and the teacher was the IT admin for the entire district), and we were playing once after school in the network lab, the game was down to a 1v1 against the two worst players in the group. At one point they both backed into the same room, touching each other and then perfectly turning so that they never actually looked at and saw each other. It was like a pack of Hyenas showed up we were all laughing so hard.

Those days were literally the best. We also did CS in our computer lab (we all hauled in our giant CRT monitors), but the highlight for me was Day of Defeat.
