I think it makes the point that we’re getting record renewables without lots of leases actually being signed, which is what matters here.

I’m expecting to start setting declines in aggregate worldwide fossil fuel use around 2026 or 2027 as the rate of renewable deployment accelerates.

This growth would almost double last year’s 18.4 GW increase, which was itself a record for annual utility-scale solar installation in the United States. As the effects of supply chain challenges and trade restrictions ease, solar continues to outpace capacity additions from other generating resources.

    Well, that’s just about solar installation, and is predicting installarion not reporting on it…
    
    And clearly not about actual production.
