Everyday3671@lemmy.world 9 months agoHonestly, the budget the show got is just too low. None of the fight scenes is even bearable. They put all there eggs in the echi stuff; but as a manga reader, I am disappointed the the story / action got no room to shine at all.

I agree. For the newly announced season 2, they really need to up the production of either the action side of the show or the ecchi side (ideally both). The action was pretty lackluster most of the show and the ecchi seemed almost censored in the first half the season. The story knows what it is, they should lean into it.
