Naah I don’t think it’s because of the Habibi. I think it’s just that there were quite a few Muslim rulers in my country with the name “Bibi”.

To state the obvious here, Hebrew and Arab are closely related languages. Phonetically a lot of things will sound similar to speakers of indoeuropean languages.
