Comment on USB hubs, printers, Java, and more seemingly broken by macOS 14.4 update
dasJot@feddit.de 3 months agoI still think my 2012 Macbook Pro with the Highres screen was peak Apple. It’s been downhill ever since, but the current releases of macOS and iOS are a an extra special kind of crap. The worst part: it’s still miles ahead of Windows.

Windows tends to work with ever you throw at it though. Plug it in and somehow it will find a way to work.

That is a side effect of being most dominant OS. Hardware manufacturers naturally support it otherwise there’s no point in manufacturing hardware.
