I didn’t read the webtoon beforehand, and enjoyed S1.
Reading the webtoon after watching, I thought it was a good adaptation.
What made you think of it as “a slog”?

Was the first any good? I watched the first few episodes and it felt like a slog compared to the weebtoon, and I could only get access to a japanese audio track (dunno if there even were others), which felt just weird.

Maybe because I was caught up on the webtoon at the time of airing and just couldn’t handle the restart. It’s not always a problem but sometimes that happens. I might give it another shot now that I don’t remember any of it.

S1 is good for me as a source material reader. My minor gripe is the anime tried to rush some things and changed narrative to fit the 13 episode run. OST is awesome as it was done by Kelvin Penkin.
