  From what I understand that has more to do with the crappy lighting than the camera.

    You could put a sodium vapor lamp directly over it and it would still be bad. It’s the framerate. The main board is what caps it. It’s essentially fine for It’s intended use of letting you see if you’re making spaghetti, but that’s about it

      The camera in my Qidi is about the same. It averages about 8 FPS which is kind of annoying. I have not yet worked up the motivation to mount a spare Pi or something somewhere and use that as a dedicated camera processor.
