elbarto777@lemmy.world 11 months agoYou were downvoted, but that’s exactly it. People are weird. Sometimes they recognize that AI can hallucinate, and sometimes they think the AI is speaking the absolute truth.

I never fuss about downvotes, people are inscrutable. If anyone has any detailed feedback I’m all ears.
These LLMs are not aware of what they’re saying. That’s why they occasionally hallucinate, they’re basically philosophical zombies.
