theragu40@lemmy.world 1 year agoOh man, you’re in for a treat. The opening is by far the weakest part of the game so if you’re already enjoying it you’re going to love it when it opens up. Scan everything you can and soak up bits of story as they are given to you. It’s a very slow burn that delivers expert pacing in revealing itself to the player.

I found myself happily mopping up all the sidequests after completion, just because the scenery was so gorgeous. Have you checked out the DLC for Forbidden West yet? Thinking of getting it before I sell the PS5

I was the exact same way. One of the first games I kept playing after the story was done, actually.
Haven’t done the DLC for FW yet, but I do plan to.
