@atomicpoet I'm wondering, what particular features of the group actor aren't rendered ideally on Mastodon? Well, besides that you can't create a group from Mastodon of course.

@ch0ccyra1n@emeraldsocial.org Well, for one thing, threads don't render very well. From Mastodon, it's also not obvious that you're interacting with a group.

And I guess the majority of Mastodon users don't even know that groups exist in the Fediverse outside maybe Guppe. So it's easy to assume that Fediverse News is a person with a Mastodon account.
