aBundleOfFerrets@sh.itjust.works 11 months agoFun fact, burning biomass is not very good as far as emissions go. In the US waste water treatment byproducts are typically methane and fertilizer, both bottled and sold. a much better place for all that carbon, imo.

It’s not burned. It goes to an Anaerobic Digester which produces electricity, gas and fertiliser.
