troybot@midwest.social 4 months agoNot OP, but my cat also had this done recently. She was eating wet food with no issues later that same day. Only aftercare was the liquid antibiotics.

Antibiotics? We were given 5 syringes (oral, no needle) of painkillers

It was liquid Clindamycin droplets orally to prevent infection
