Bronco1676@lemmy.ml 11 months agoLaptops don’t have the same amount of cooling as desktop computers, so the same CPU in a laptop won’t give you the same performance as in a desktop computer because of thermal throttling.

Maybe, but I’m pretty sure the main use for integrated graphics is with laptops and other form factor PCs.
