Comment on A literal child taking orders in a fast food restaurant in the US
JaymesRS@literature.cafe 8 months agoI work in a High School Media center. Some 9th and even a few 10th graders definitely look like they still belong in middle school, some kids mature late. I’d totally believe this person is actually 14.

I worked as a waiter at a retirement home at 14, and definitely looked younger at the time, so I think there’s a good chance this is the case.
