wintermute_oregon@lemm.ee 8 months agoMy point is I don’t know anyone who voted for it or even slightly agreed with it. I suspect it was California transplants. All the Orgonains I knew were heavily against this and some are extremely liberal. It seems that the California refugees have taken the left to a weird place in Oregon.

The thing is, you probably run in circles with fairly intelligent and reasonable people. That isn’t the group voting for this type of stuff. You’re looking at the whole population, half of which is below average in terms of not being stupid.
