I am not a fan of the water repellent nature of them. But other than that they are the best sun shirts I have found otherwise.

ProdigalFrog@slrpnk.net 1 week ago While looking to see if they mention what those shirts are made of (doesn’t seem like they mention it anywhere, unless I’m missing it), I did notice one of the pictures mentions it’s treated to be water resistant, which unfortunately could mean they’ve been coated with a PFAS containing repellent, which from what this test showed, appears to come off and potentially contaminate the environment somewhat :(
Could be they use something else, but I think PFAS containing stuff is still the most common.

Surprised it’s not a blend, since full polyester I would’ve thought to be uncomfortable in high heat, but I guess those little holes throughout the fabric really do allow it to breath and negate that effect?
The material is so thin, i am unsure that my caliper would even register a thickness. I did finally order one in black, because we’ll, i am one of those people that only wears black until something darker comes along, but when I am working in the sun, or hiking with the dogs i do wear these in the light colors… But I really want a black one to wear when I am out and about.
