@EncryptKeeper @PHLAK I was using Linode, then I was using 'Akamai Connected Cloud', and now I'm using Hetzner — with a dedicated server for a third of the price of Akamai's 'cloud'-hosting — with four times the RAM and about 20x the disk space.

No they didn’t grandfather anybody in, they made the price changes to computer universally back in April of last year. The only plan not changed was the $5 nanode so if that’s all you’re running then that’s probably why your bill didn’t change.
