FractalsInfinite@sh.itjust.works 5 months agoTools for backing up servers already exist: github.com/Tyrrrz/DiscordChatExporter But unfortunately discord can’t be easily scraped in one coordinated attempt unlike reddit due to the massive number of private servers and existing verification/anti-bot mechanisms. As a result, only the communities that have data hoarders will be actually archived.

Good link, though not the one I used. I’ve already begun taking measures archiving various chats. Even if Discord lives, my account might not.
