I should tell my brother-in-law about this because he’s made and remade stram accounts like 6 times because he keeps forgetting the passwords (also forgets his email account passwords and abandons those)

dinckelman@lemmy.world 9 months agoIf that were the case, thankfully Steam support is pretty good at helping with issues like this one. I had an account stolen from me over 10 years ago. New display name, new email, new password. Didn’t remember the login itself, but I had a cd-key and the original email that was attached to the account. They recovered that pretty damn quickly

I have change email, change password and don’t remember shit from my first steam account, I doubt I’ll ever get it back (which is fine, I was young and didnt purchased anything, it was over 15 years ago).
