LainOfTheWired@lemy.lol 6 months agoIf you find the old doom games a little too old. Why don’t you check out the brutal doom mod as it really pumps up the first 2 games and gives them a lot of modern gameplay elements. Seriously it makes them feel really fresh

I’ve been playing them recently. GZDoom + Brutal Doom really improves the game, it’s very customizable and só satisfying. I’m loving it.

Also if you want another really fun mod check out Golden Souls. It’s a mod that fuses Doom with Mario 64, and it’s one of the most amusing mods I have ever played, and it’s really fun
