ramjambamalam@lemmy.ca 6 months agoLots if employees have stock based compensation and therefore do own part of the company. A tiny fraction of a company’s market cap can still be a huge component (over 50% is not uncommon in tech) of an employee’s compensation.

Bro you talking about the 5-10% who works for multi national companies and get stock options. Majority of people don’t get stock options, they just do their 9-5 and go home.
