manual3204@iusearchlinux.fyi 7 months agoOh yeah. Where it crumbles, I cut back. The wiring inside the metal armor has all still been in great condition, but I’ve been replacing it where I can. For the most part, they installed things really well.
I’d like to replace all my breakers with AFCI, but I don’t know if I’m just going to kick myself for doing that… There have been some “interesting” upgrades after a previous owner switched to 200 A service.

Yeah I don’t know a lot about electrical but I work in insurance and have seen quite a few “origin and cause” fire reports with pics of wiring that looks a bit like that. Sounds like you know what you’re doing 😊
