Did you try to import the exported file in a newer version of friendica, and when yes, wich one?
Start is to look in the LogFiles.

OK I figured out I had to turn logging on through the admin panel, and then it was available at /var/logs/friendica/friendica.log quite a few mentions of no data for session and no actor found.
