smileyhead@discuss.tchncs.de 10 months agoEnd2End encrypted by program that Apple controls and user cannot see or touch. Yes, it’s then not readable on their servers, but what stops them from breaking encryption for you is how much they care about your messages.

The prospect of one entity maybe having a backdoor is much more secure than every entity for sure having read access.
