little_hermit@lemmus.org 10 months agoYou missed the point of my statement. SSDs are far faster than physical HDDs, therefore you can get away with providing less RAM. And the lifespan of a modern SSD is the same as a HDD. But yes, they are cheaping out by providing only 8GB, unless you pay hundreds more.

SSDs are faster than HDDs but they’re not as fast as RAM.
Like if you’re going to fanboy Apple at least make sense
