TangledHyphae@lemmy.world 8 months agoI ran qmail servers on FreeBSD back in 2001. It’s very solid and battle hardened, but it doesn’t have the widespread support that Ubuntu/Fedora have, although as a pure basic server it doesn’t seem to matter that much with the ports system.

I ran it on a Lenovo x200 with libreboot and had no issues, mind you this was only a couple years ago I made the switch. Before that the laptop had debian on it.
