  I love that phrasing.

  I think this is the first season, but I could be completely wrong. I’m going off of the hair style.

    I just realized that it might be from Caretaker.

    Everyone knows that Janeway had two hair styles. Up in a bun for the first few seasons, then cut short into a bob for the rest of the series.

    But she actually had a different, more complicated hairstyle before voyager was sent to the Delta Quadrant. Something I didn’t notice until rewatching the whole series a few years back.

    After the shockwave, her hair is all screwed up and they actually make it a point to show her walking down a corridor while quickly fixing her hair into the simple bun that she would keep for the early seasons.

    I think this screen is from when her perfectly-styled hair was still in disarray.

    I could be wrong.

        I can hear the music from that scene in my head. Best cold open to any Star Trek series.

      It might be from the episode where Seven traveled back in time to before when Voyager was launched.
