WarmSoda@lemm.ee 11 months agoFrom what I’ve casually heard over the years, and someone correct me if I’m wrong, lots of people try to get urban jobs because most are from farms and they’re poor. That’s one of the reasons call centers are so big.

This is true, but most of them actually work in light industry, construction, garments and so on. Call centres are a fairly minor sector.
