echoplex21@lemmy.world 8 months agoPro tip. Upgrade launch damage, made the game a ton easier. There’s also Gameplay assistances if it’s feeling a bit too difficult. I used this for the Alan Wake DLC .

It’s mostly the non-humanoid bosses that take a few tries just to understand their attack patterns. The humanoid dudes got spongey, but I haven’t died to them yet. There’s also the RNG upgrade bits that can make it easier or harder. I got lucky and have basically infinite ammo and I gain back health as I deal damage with those. It just doesn’t help when you die because the Eldritch horror you have to look up to make sure you’re not slapped is also breaking the floor below you and you fall through into the void. :(
