She was in the basement because she was a prisoner. She was trying to kill everyone in the village next door.
They let her come with them because they needed her ability and were confident they could handle her if she tried to stab them in the back.
It’s fairly obvious, not sure why you’re getting mad about it

You come with your first reply being totally passive aggressive and now pretending to be a victim.
It’s not obvious at all, since she controls GIANT Mabeasts on the episode, and there are many mabeasts on the desert. She is only vulnerable when without mabeasts.
