While things like weather and other conditions can affect range, these should be accounted for in standardized testing. However, Tesla consistently underperforms in a variety of 3rd-party standardized testing:

That’s… expensive ? The last car I bought new was €17.000 (12 years ago, a Citroën Berlingo).

Yes, well, things haven’t gotten cheaper over the years… that’s the way things generally tend to work. And that sounds like a much lower quality car. Average new car price in the US is ~$40k.
You have to account for the cost of ownership in that purchase price. But it sounds like you may need to investigate your local EV incentives.
I’m ready for a Toyota Corolla EV or similar for a much lower price, but Japan seems to be on a warpath against EVs.
