Comment on Lemmy active users down, comments steady and posts up
IMALlama@lemmy.world 11 months agoI’ve posted some variant of this a few times now, but I think there are a bunch of us lurking and commenting on some of these smaller communities. But since there aren’t many posts in them I’ve been somewhat hesitant to post content for fear of being spammy.

Try spacing out your posts a day apart, and if other people post then skip your post for the day. Keep the community visible without spamming and hopefully people will join after a while.
This is what I did in the earlier days of !birding, and I rarely even post now since there are more contributors. (partly because I’m also running out of photos to share)
