haverholm@kbin.earth 4 weeks ago Yeah, they went on their research expedition because apparently rumours about those weird transhumanist Swedes had already reached the Federation? Again, 18-20 years before "Q who"... The timeline is messed up, even before we consider time travel.

yeah it sounded like at the level of mythology way at the frontier of colonies toward the delta quadrant. They went into the delta quadrant in their search for years. so like I think even the crazy hillbilly colonists thought of it as a fairy tale to scare children.
