In My Summer Car, the (singular) dev put a few paintings in the player character’s home that were made with AI.
He got lots of hate for it, and someone eventually created a mod that replaces the AI artwork with a real artist’s paintings…
…which he had downloaded from the internet and put in his mod without compensating, attributing, asking or informing the artist in any way…

Yeah! I hear every time AI generates something a baby is thrown into a wood chipper. No one should use any technology, ever.

Not as good as boycotting a game because of a tool they used that you wouldn’t even know they used it they hadn’t disclosed it. That’s a far better argument.
