Comment on Anyone have one or two anime that they watched and were surprised it wasn’t more popular?
Maybe it's just because it hit me the right way at the right time, but besides the deau meme, rozen maiden's first season hit me so hard I'm surprised it wasn't way more popular

Yeah, but it's one of those shows where the further you get from the original, the more you wish you'd just watched the first season and left it there.

Sounds good to me. I have this completionist mindset that urges me to watch everything related to an anime. I don’t actually do that for many of them but I have that urge and then I have that subtle feeling of failure when I leave stuff unwatched. But with an online stranger’s discouragement for watching the extra stuff, I can rest easy
