Usually someone who is in the trades calls it “the trades”. You never hear the term “trade industry” which is why I noted it

Yeah it was a little weird wording. Im not in the trades. Trying to be vague because internet, but i while work WITH plumbers and HVAC specialists, and have previously worked in the field, Im not one myself.
