Everything you do in your daily life thrives because of these services. I’m sorry that you’re not aware of how your life is made possible by NIST, NWS, NHSTA, FTC and yes even the ever hated FDA. (Never forget that prior to FDA, corporations were literally killing children with formaldehyde-adulterated milk.) I swear it’s like trying to get a fish to see water.

Maybe if you stopped acting like everyone who disagrees with you was just too retarded to see what you see, and instead acknowledge that not everyone agrees with you personally, you would have a much better time

I’m not particularly interested in discourse with people who want to pretend that not having basic services like standardized weights and measures, weather forecasting, consumer health and safety regulations, or environmental regulations is a valid opinion not driven by either ignorance or pure misanthropic greed.
