fkn@lemmy.world 1 year agoMost of Israeli immigration has been from the former Soviet Union, not the middle East… Unless you count the FSU as the Middle East… Which depending on how you want to count things for displaced progress may be valid… And it really kicked off in the early 70s.

If you re-read my comment, you'll note I said that something like a third of Israelis are (originally from) from the middle-east or arab countries.
