I must object to the slander of the Miranda class. That is one of my favorite starship designs of all time, Star Trek or otherwise.
I have no problem dumping on the Oberth class, though. Those things are crap.

You telling me a light cruiser from the end of the TOS Era isn’t as mighty as the “totally not a battleship” TNG Era Galaxy and Sovereign class ships?
