      You seem to think an EMP wouldn’t have tremendous collateral damage. It’s a nuke for electronics, indiscriminate in targets.

  Someone could build an emp with a wave guide in their garage

  Just look at online forums amd youtubers who are in the DIY electronics space

  You could even make one from parts of a plasma globe
