Not sure I’ve intentionally browsed “All” since my first month or so on Lemmy. At the beginning, Local was almost as diverse and had almost none of that crap(in English, anyways), but I’ve been pretty satisfied with my subscribed feed since then.
Have you tried Blocking communities? As well as users?

i mean i just blocked the instance, im really more talking abt the fact that shitjustworks is federated with instances that operate pornslop bot commies, including pedobait ones

I wouldn’t shorten “communities” to “commies”, unless you also hate Hexbear, lemmy.ml, and others, but aside from that, I could use a list, as there aren’t many nsfw instances I’m aware of, and none I’ve seen engaged in such behaviors.
Its possible I already blocked one or more, as that’s literally part of the reasons I ever checked /all, but that should tell you, I am pre-emptive about such things when I see the opportunity, and encourage others to do the same.

Seems my instance isn’t federated with that one, or rather, there’s not enough subs from my instance to those communities for it to show up when I search it under Settings>Blocks>Communities, although I can see a couple posts from it under the regular Search All page … I may just block the bot account, but I’mma take a nap before I check /all to see what’s what where I’m at with Lemmy and this situation.
