Comment on Pluto TV Celebrates William Shatner’s Birthday With Star Trek Takeover Including All The Movies Streaming Free
Pluto still needs to pay Paramount for the content.
It’s wholly owned and operated by Paramount Skydance. I’m sure they have to “pay” the parent company for tax reasons and stuff but why would that be an issue here? The content rights are all owned by the same company that owns Pluto TV.
Pluto Canada will have a content budget. It must pay the full market rates. The rights may also have been sold to another broadcaster for Canada.
