Comment on Laws basically treats your mind and your body as two separate entities, since suicide isn't treated as an excercise of free will and self determination, but as an assault by the mind against the body.

This one really made me think, thanks. It really depends on how far you zoom out though. The mind could have been under assault due to acute or chronic physical pain from the body.
